Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh is one of the most anticipated films of the year 2025. The film is directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, and the director has assembled so many impressive actors under one roof for this historical courtroom drama. Akshay Kumar as Adv. Popular Hollywood actor, Alexx O’Nell, will be seen playing the character of ‘Lord Chelmsford’ in Kesari 2. For the uninitiated, Chelmsford was the Viceroy of India during the unfortunate Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919. Alexx O’Nell is getting a lot of spotlight ahead of the release of Kesari: Chapter 2, and there are plenty of reasons behind it. One is the fact that in an interview with The Indian Express, Alexx shared that he had jokingly told Akshay that the last time they worked together was in Joker (2012), and it was a box office disaster.
Alexx O’Nell further added that he hopes Kesari 2 doesn’t go in the same direction. The Hollywood actor also revealed that Akshay and Alexx shared a laugh on the sets, discussing the way Joker slumped at the box office. However, the Hollywood actor admitted that he was glad that he had the chance to work with Akshay Kumar once again after almost a decade of waiting. He said:
“It has to do better than the first film Akshay and I did together, Joker! We met after all these years and started working together on Kesari. Obviously, we shared a bit of a laugh about that film.”
